Lately I have Been Making...

...painted eggs for a little spring floral display...

...a throw for the living room...

... a pretty trim for some plain white towels (the crochet pattern is from issue 17 of Mollie Makes)...

...a geometric inspired cushion...

...another baby blanket, very similar to this one for a friend who is due to give birth in May. I'm just doing little sections here and there, when I get a moment....

...and, with Bella, some Easter decorations to hang on the pussy willow.

Can't wait to see what you're doing with the painted eggs. I briefly thought about decopatching some but bought a pre-decorated bag from the supermarket instead! My favourite is the egg decoration you've made with Bella - lovely colours. x

Aha, thank you... I've been looking for that bloody edging pattern for days, I want to put it on a scarf I made... been driving me crackers as I know it's hiding in my mags or books somewhere!

Lots of lovely pretty projects on the go there, enjoy :-)

You have been busy! I love all of these projects you're doing. Is that a giant granny throw? That is the most relaxing thing to crochet.

Oh, so many great projects! I wish I was so productive. Will the towels trim survive in the washing machine?
There's a great way to paint smth without the traces of the brush. You take a sponge (I use the one which is for make-up) put some paint on it and then you dab the object with it. I do it with acrylic paint (I do not know how other paint will behave), so acrylic paint first looks a little bubbly, but when it dries the surface becomes smooth and solidly painted.

You prolific "making" of such a variety of things always amazes me Gillian. When my kiddos were little I made dinner and that was it. You rock.
